Coding standard rules divided into Cosmetic (formatting etc) and Non-Cosmetic (performance degradation etc) Designed to be used in conjunction with other reports – quality, complexity, maintainability Can be run on an individual program, a group or an entire application Rules can often be configured for the desired range and values Resulting violations are displayed in a report Grouped by category Weighted Hyperlinked to the source Can be exported to pdf etc Can be summarised, trended and correlated using EZSource:Dashboard Violations exported to Coverity Connect for remediation management
