2. Storm outlook for the next week. 2 storms this week. One is rain on Wednesday. Locally heavy downpours. Up to 0.30 inch of rain. The other storm that has snow in the forecast will be uncertain till Wednesday morning. There are 2 scenario’s. The first one. The snow and rain goes further south and we see scattered snow flurries. The other scenario. The storm stays on the northern track and hits the area harder. AS OF NOW more models are agreeing the 2 nd scenario. This will change. Check the next slides for different scenario’s.

5. If the storm hits or not…. The heaviest snow will be on the South Shore of LI, Southern Queens, Staten Island, Brooklyn.

6. If the storm hits, we will see around a moderate snowfall total. (4-8 inches) If the storm does not hit, we will see a very light snowfall total. (0-2 inches)
