5. So what classes are you interested in taking? Foreign language? Construction? Physical Education? Computer/Technology? Band? Family and Consumer Sciences? JROTC? Theatre?

6. What classes do you HAVE to take? Think of your 4 core subjects Career Readiness Course PE requirement Elective requirements?

7. What is your goal for graduation/senior year? Full time high school? Part time high school and part time job? Part time high school and part time college? (Dual enrollment) Keep in mind that you may miss vital information being at school only half a day if that’s what you choose; or you may just miss out on the high school experience in general!

8. 4 Year Plan In order to determine if your classes meet the requirements for graduation, you need to come up with a 4-year plan, making note of the graduation requirements and credits needed in every subject area. A 4-year plan is NOT a set-in-stone document; it can change as you go through high school, but it helps you pace your classes and determine the course you will take.
