Dale Chihuly Macchia Series Organic shapes : irregular shapes of freely-developed curves resembling those found in living organisms macchia : (ma-key-yah) “spotted” in Italian Warm colors : colors that remind people of warm things, colors with red or yellow such as red, yellow, orange and pink Cool colors : colors that remind people of cool things, colors with blue, purple, and green

When viewed at a distance, the colors blend together Warm Colors : colors with red or yellow in them Cool Colors : colors with green or blues in them such as green, blue and purple and violet
