Ship-Trap Island Poem Assignment Practicing online submission Write a poem using imagery, personification, onomatopoeia and similes *describing Ship-Trap Island or another choice below. You will COLOR CODE your 4 literary devices! 12 lines total. Remember that poetry is rhythmic, compressed language that appeals to the reader’s emotions and imagination. Free- style poetry does not have to rhyme. *Poem topics: about Ship-Trap, about a superstition, about a panic-like situation, about something you quit due to boredom…. Look at calendar for due date!
