Growth Mindset (Carol Dweck, 2008)- When one sees her/himself as capable of growth through diligent effort, the sky is the limit. 3. PD topics: - Hot topics: Ebola, concussions - Handling topics in the news (Flu shots, etc.) - Communicating with parents, staff, students - How to help teachers understand what to send to the nurse and what to handle in classroom - Orientation: transitioning from hospital to school setting - Time management -Diagnosing students & communicating thereafter
