2.  Florida Standards Assessments were developed to measure student success with the new Florida State Standards, adopted in 2014, and implemented into instruction this school year.  The subjects assessed in 3 rd grade are English Language Arts and Math.

6. How can I help my child? 1. Encourage and Praise! 2. Regular attendance is so important! 3. Your child should be at school on time, well rested, and prepared every day. 4. Encourage your child to do their best, take their time, and check over their homework. 5. Have your child eat a healthy breakfast, it is an essential part of their day. 6. Create a quiet, comfortable place to study at home. 7. Provide books, children’s magazines, and other materials for your child to read at home. 8. Balance recreation and study time.
