Basic parts of plants: Leaves Flowers Stems Roots Seeds

Parts of the plant where food is made by photosynthesis. During photosynthesis the leaves use light energy to change carbon dioxide and water into food.

The reproductive parts of plants. Flower petals attract bees and insects to pollinate.

Support the upper parts of plants. Store food. Food from leaves travel down the stems to reach the roots.

Anchor plants in the soil. Water and minerals are taken from the soil through the roots.

Seed halves contain food that give energy to the plant. Helps the plant grow.
