“THE ONLINE TD” FIS IT Update 1
2
TRACKING YOUR RACE DOCUMENTATION 2
3
Confirming the TDTR 1. The TD must review and verify the accuracy of the Timing Report for the race to be valid. 2. If the Timing Report is not sent electronically and verified by the TD the Race will not be valid for FIS Points and will only show the time and not the Race Points. 3
4
Example of race where the result is sent but the race is not yet valid (“N0-waiting report”) 4
5
INSIDE THE TD File –CHECKING REPORTS Note that the TDTR has two verifications— 1.First, that the xml was sent 2.Second that you have verified that the TDTR is correct 5
6
In this case the race will become valid for FIS points 6
7
Verifying the TDTR: During the TD Report submission process, the TD must validate the TDTR. If the TD clicks the RED button the TD report will be still be valid. The Race will also show valid but the timing issue will be reviewed by the FIS. Alpine Technical Delegates Update 20127
8
If the timing report was not ok and you click the red button this information will automatically be added on the TD report. 8
9
Once the TDTR is validated and the TD report is sent the race will then show the Race Points and the race will become Valid for FIS points. 9
10
CHECKLIST To ensure minimal issues when sending results: 1.Please review results, penalty and confirm no major timing issues, then oversee sending to FIS the Result XML and TDTR XML. 2.Once the response comes back from the FIS result server that the results are correct, check the online Result and INFO’s to make sure everything is OK on the FIS site. 3.Go into your FIS TD file and verify what has processed (Hopefully YES, YES, YES) and double check the Timing Report is there 4.If everything is good the TD completes ONLINE TD report and sends to FIS. 5.Check online after the TD report is sent, that all is complete. 10
11
What if I see a mistake when I check the results online or when reviewing the timing report? As long as the TD REPORT has NOT been sent to the FIS, you can correct and resend the result XML and/or the TDTR XML. Once the TD REPORT has been sent to FIS, you can not resend anything. The only way to correct mistakes is to make the correction and send the paperwork to Tatjana. 11
