How is it done? Individual match ups Yet practice as a team Two wrestlers of similar weight step on the mat Both in a standing, ready position Shake hands and ……………………

To the 2 nd Period WW restling can continue for 1 or 2 more time periods of action if no pin PP oints are scored by gaining control of the other (2 points) EE scaping control (1 point) AA lmost pinning the other (2 or 3) VV iolations earn points to the other wrestler WW restler with the most points at the end -- ---wins II f a tie ? … then…… …. Overtime !!!!

How can I view and support it? AAttend nearby matches … …..usually held on Saturdays SS cholastic & Collegiate seasons in the winter MM any open competitions in the spring and summer CC an be viewed on public TV EE ncourage students to try it
