Research Data “Is everything that is digital also data?” – “The Conundrum of Sharing Research Data” by Christine Borgman. What constitutes “data” covered by a Data Management Plan? What constitutes such data will be determined by the community of interest through the process of peer review and program management. The Fourth Paradigm “Data intensive” and “data driven” research are about managing huge quantities of data. Gray argued for the establishment of modern stores for data and documents that are on par with traditional libraries. Data-intensive science consists of three basic activities: capture, curation, and analysis. Uncurated data is guaranteed to be lost.
