1 SCIENCE INVESTIGATORY RESEARCH PROPOSAL Prepared by: Ma. Diana R. Conado – Lipata National High School Susan Alenton- Ipil National High School

2 A tree is an important part of every community. It increases our quality of life by bringing natural elements and wild life habitats in urban settings. We gather under the cool shade it provides during outdoor activities with family and friends. As well as, trees provide an important role in battling global warming which is one of the pressing issues nowadays according to the journal published in Arbor Day Foundation. In fact, our president, Benigno Aquino III implemented a 1.5 Billion Tree Project covering 1.5 Billion hectares of land in the Philippines within six years, according to EMMANUEL LOUIS BACANI, GMA News.

3 In view of this, the researchers opted to perform this research proposal for they have observed that trees are nowhere to found in the vicinity of Lipata National High School.

4  To identify what type of plant can survive in the vicinity of Lipata National High School.  To identify the growth rate of Mangium, Gmelina, and Talisay Plants.  To identify the soil composition of the Lipata National High School. The study seeks to
