Cascading Style Sheets A style sheet is: Any rule or sequence of rules that affects the appearance of a document. Cascading Style Sheets: CSS is a simple mechanism for adding style (e.g. fonts, colors, and spacing) to Web documents

Cascading Style Sheets Cascading Style Sheets are used to separate presentation from content. CSS is a tool for controlling the design and layout of web contents.

Cascading Style Sheets The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) developed Cascading Style Sheets.

Cascading Style Sheets One advantage of Cascading Style Sheets is that if they are used properly you only have to change one source to impact all the pages of a web site. This makes for quicker and cleaner maintenance.

Cascading Style Sheets There are four style sheet types in CCS-1 specifications: inline style, embedded style sheet, linked style sheets and imported style sheets. Embedded and linked style sheets are most commonly used.
