2 Project Description Project Kong is a device that uses conservation of energy to accomplish the task of reestablishing the street lights to the local population after the catastrophic event that was unleashed due to King Kong.

3 Counter attack: Phase 1 A ball bearing is placed into the 1½” flexible tubing. The ball bearing travels down the flexible tubing a height of 16” The ball bearing exits the flexible tubing onto a 12” grooved plank.

4 Counter attack: Phase 2 A second identical ball bearing is resting approximately 6” from the exiting end of the flexible tubing. The initial ball bearing collides with the second ball bearing that is at rest on the plank. The collision between the two ball bearings is elastic which in turn sets the second ball bearing into motion.

5 Counter attack: Phase 3 The second ball bearing will travel down the grooved plank and drop through a hole at the end of the plank. The ball bearing will then travel down the tube, jump a gap and land in the funnel. The ball bearing will land on the ends of two wires, Thus completing a circuit and turning on the lights.
