3 Copyright © Ed2Net Learning, Inc.3 Introduction to Clock  The numerals 1 to 12 divide the face of a clock into 12 equal sections.  Minute hand rotates through the 12 sections in 60 minutes.  Each section corresponds to five minutes.

4 Copyright © Ed2Net Learning, Inc.4 Hands of Clock The three hands of a Clock are minute hand, hour hand and second hand. The hour hand points between 1 and 2. The minute hand points at 3.

6 Copyright © Ed2Net Learning, Inc.6 Tell Time (1)  You can tell time by the number of minutes after an hour.  The hour hand is between 1 and 2. so, the time is after 1 o’clock.  The minute hand is ate 3.  Start at 12 and count ahead by 5 minute steps.  The time is 1:15
