In the 1700s, the Mohican people were pushed to move. Settled in Bowler, Wisconsin

As the Stockbridge people moved, they joined with another tribe, the Munsee, to become the “Stockbridge-Munsee Band” Today: ◦ 1565 members ◦ ½ living on the 22,000 acre reservation.
