Background All the peaks up to 20 orders are related to gear mesh from the dryers below this upper felt roll. The roll is 764 RPM Very little acceleration up to 240 3kHz) orders. The bearing felt and sounded “different” so PeakVue data was taken.

From the PeakVue data we can see the energy must be concentrated in the 10-20 kHz region The 20 kHx raw data shows the resonance being excited by the inner race defect around 10-12 kHz
