1 Texas e-Grants Status Report, Phase I Find Funding Opportunity Information Denise Stines Francis, Office of the Governor, March 27, 2007

2 Purpose and Intent Establishes a one-stop searchable website to identify state-funded grant funding opportunities as well as federal grant funding opportunities that pass-through from Texas state agencies

3 Status---Phase I Testing Phase Texas state agencies recently completed 2 rounds of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) re: the posting of summary funding opportunity information in the System through the TexasOnline website Implementation “Soft launch” of search feature is scheduled for week of April 2, 2007

4 Status---Phase II Application Submittal Phase Interagency meeting planned for mid- April, 2007 to discuss “next steps” in developing electronic application submittal processes
