Workers Organize Labor unions- argued for the workers- made individuals powerful as a group! Sought National Voice- Terrance Powderly- Knights of Labor 8- hour work day, higher wages, equal pay for woman, child labor laws. Argued against immigration (competition) General public said they were to radical, after series of unsuccessful strikes, people left.
