2. Author:Alexis 12-13-11 This is a choose your adventure story. As you read, you will have to make decisions in order to continue reading. Be careful, your decisions may lead to riches and fame or it could be the exact opposite. Think about your decisions carefully or otherwise you just might end up with some “BROKEN CANDY”.

3. You are in the year 2020 and you just bought the new game Hi-Tech CandyLand. Video game companies are trying to bring back the classics. You start playing the game once you get home and quickly get frustrated with it. You could look up cheats or just get a new game. Look up some cheats online to make the game easier. 4. You bring the game back to the store the next day. You hand the employee the game and your receipt. He scans the bar code of the receipt and immediately a buzzer goes off! You jump up in the air, startled by the sound along with the cashier. After awhile of figuring out what just happened, the cashier says, “This receipt is fake. So…, my guess is you stole the game and printed out a fake receipt. You’re in some deep trouble; trying to get money from something you stole. You just stay there, I will be right back with some police.” You are standing there with your mouth wide open, stunned and speechless, not knowing what to do. Your fun weekend has officially ended. 5. You look up “cheats for Hi-Tech CandyLand”. You are surprised when you find that there is a lot more than you had expected. You write one down for skipping levels and go try it out. Abruptly, you are sucked into the T.V. When you open your eyes you are in the game! Once you take in the scenery, you are surprised to hear a speaker voice saying, “You have been caught cheating. You must now find your own way out of CandyLand.’’ You notice a big sign right in front of your face. It says Gooey Caramel Path pointing right and pointing left is Cracked Candy Cane Path. 6. You choose to go right down Gooey Caramel Path and actually find caramel AND peanut butter on the path. As you’re studying the ground you don’t notice a nude Peanut Butter Twix Bar that’s standing in front of you. The next thing you know, you are stuck against the wall, covered in peanut butter. Actually this is what made you so mad in the game. The Twix bar starts questioning you immediately, asking, “Where is your leader? Who’s side are you on?” You try to answer as he keeps popping out questions about things you have no idea about. Once he pauses you tell him you don’t know at all what he’s talking about. He explains, “There’s a war between caramel and peanut butter. Peanut butter’s leader is Reeses and caramel’s leader is the caramel Twix. I‘m hunting him down. Maybe you could help me.” You could help him but then you might be stuck there even longer. But, if you don’t he might kill you, or maybe he won’t. 7. You walk down Cracked Candy Cane Path very cautiously, looking over the candy cane walls as they crackle and pop every step you take. 5 candy canes ahead a domino effect begins when one crackle was a little too crackly. They all fall on top of each other, blocking your path ahead. You don’t know how far they go down because all you see is red and white. You also don’t know what Gooey Caramel Path is like either. You could go back and risk something worse down that path, or you could risk more candy canes falling on you is you keep going. 8. You untangle yourself from the Peanut Butter and tell the Twix that you don’t want to help. As you start walking down the path you are tackled by the Twix. He squirts Peanut Butter down your throat with his gun. As you try to swallow it, more and more is getting stuck. Before you know it, you can’t breathe! As you’re choking and dying, Twix is watching you and as you take your last breath, he says, “Stupid Caramel lover!” Go back and change your mind (Slide 5) click herehere

9. You help the Twix Bar and he brings you to an abandoned warehouse. You have no idea how you even got there. It was like you magically teleported. You are awakened from your day dream with a fully loaded PB gun in your hands and Twix flying through the instructions. You don’t here a word he said and now you are stunned to see yourself flying through some barn doors and out into the battlefield. Caramel and Peanut Butter are flying everywhere but you are in so much shock you can’t even find where it’s coming from. As you scan the field you spot the exit door. Without even thinking, your legs start running. Once you are through the door you are home again somehow, nothing on you at all. Go back to the beginning (Slide 1) click herehere

10. You climb up on top of the candy canes and find out that there’s not even that much left of the path luckily. You run to the end and find peanut butter and caramel flying everywhere. You see the exit door across the battlefield. You automatically start sprinting. You thought you would being getting hit with peanut butter and caramel but you don’t feel getting hit so maybe you aren’t. You dive through the door, dodging one last peanut butter cup. Your landing one was soft and warm somehow. You find yourself in your bed. You are so frightened you just fall right asleep. The next morning you wake up and go downstairs to find your mother making breakfast. She turns around once you sit down to give you your pancakes and her face immediately was in shock. “What did you do last night?! Did you have a bit of a sweet tooth? Go get in the shower and you are gonna clean up this mess you made too!” You look at your pants and see that you are covered head to toe in caramel and peanut butter. 11. You start heading back and you suddenly hear that one stupid speaker voice again. “This is still a game. Just like in a game, you are not allowed to go back.” You choose to ignore the voice and keep going. After what seems like hours of walking, you notice that you are still in the same spot you were when you started. You try to start sprinting and figure it out; there’s an invisible barrier in front of you just like in a game. You can’t believe that you didn’t even notice it. “Wait a minute, I can’t move anywhere! I’m stuck. HELP! Speaker guuuyyyyyyyy! Where did you go? I’m stuck here!” Once you realize you are stuck there forever, everything starts melting. The walls of candy canes start oozing down. Now all you see is darkness. As you sob in loneliness, you hear the voice again, “Nobody likes a cheater.” Go back and change your mind (Slide 6) click herehere
