2. 2 History of the Company EAB - ELEKTRO-ANLAGEN-BAU, HANS KOEPPEL ENGINEERING was founded in 1971 as individual entrepreneur. The main activities during the first years were: Erection and installation of on and installation of electrical heating systems Erection and installation of high voltage transformer stations Erection and installation of high and low voltage power systems Construction and erection of high and low voltage overhead lines The Company was changed 1975 to a limited partnership and the established activities were increased to: Manufacturing of High and Low Voltage Power Systems Manufacturing of Hospital Equipment (lighting channel 7 ducts) Erection and installation of Hospital Equipment Erection and installation of Electronics and Communications Engineering and design of Control Systems In 1979 our export division was established and from this time we already delivered projects to: Nigeria (Lagos and Kaduna) Libya (Tripoli) United Arabic Emirates (Abu Dhabi) Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Tabuk etc.) In the year 1986 a Branch Office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, was established. The activities are mainly engineering, supervision for erection of our equipment, testing and commissioning.

3. 3 Present activities Our activity in the Middle East is focused on: Medium Voltage Switchgear Systems Primary Distribution Switchgear Secondary Distribution Switchgear Special Applications Switchgear Retrofit Systems for MV- Switchgear SCADA Systems for MV-Switchgears Our company is continually investing in improving the technical know-how of its staff as well as in the very last technology. We successfully initiated industrial co-operation with companies coming from new European Union countries: in particular with SIEMENS, S-ENGINEERING, Co. ZPUE and SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC all located at the EU – Region. All our product and systems meet requirements of major international standards and specifications – Austrian, German, French, British and American. Design, egnineering and manufacturing are organized according to requirements of quality systems ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and AQAP.
