3. How it got its name? Blue Fairy Penguins are also known as “Fairy Penguins”, “Blue Penguins”, and now officially known as “Little Penguins” They got their names because of their size and their color. Little Penguins are the smallest of all of the types of penguins.

4. Where do they live? Little Penguins live on the coast of Australia and New Zealand They mostly live in the water and only come to the land during the night time, except when they have babies. Sometime Little Penguins will stay in the ocean for weeks without coming on land.
