2. This unit was a comparison of the amount of acid rain in Maputo and Nelspruit.

3. In it we used TI-98 Calculators with sensors to test the PH of different samples of water from different cities.

4. We took 5 samples from Maputo and 1 from Nelspruit. This is because Nelspruit was hard to get to.

5. We did an activity in which we attempted to discern which kind of water a sample is. We used four types of water: Seawater, Rainwater, Tap Water, and Distilled water

6. We used conductivity and pH to try to predict which samples were which. We used, again, a TI- 98 calculator to find this out.

7. We learned that seawater has a high conductivity due to the salt, and rainwater has a normally low pH of around 5 compared to 7 of distilled water. We also learned that tap water has many minerals and other substances other than H 2 O floating around in it.
