Vegetables are the edible parts of a plant, they can be from many different parts of the plant. There are many varieties of vegetables. They grow in different climates and places all over the world. Due to great transportation and distribution it is very easy to get different vegetables from all year round, and from many different countries.

Storage Fresh fruit and vegetables should be used as soon as possible. If stored, they should be kept in a cool, dark place to prevent sprouting, mould growth and rotting.
