2 Medians Median = a segment from one vertex to the opposite midpoint of a Δ. All 3 medians intersect at the centroid of the Δ. A 2/3 Rule: The centroid is 2/3 of the way from the vertex to the opposite midpoint X B C F

3 Altitudes Altitude = segment drawn from a vertex perpendicular to the opposite side. Draw the 3 altitudes for these triangles:

4 Find HB if H is the centroid of ΔABC and HL = 7.
