Past Continuous subj + was/were + verb+ing + when + subj + verb in past. Examples: Aff. You were studying when she called. Int. Were you studying when she called? Neg. You were not studying when she called. weren’t

Exercise 1. Write 3 sentences of your own using the past continuous. (They can be negative, affirmative or interrogative.

Use 1. Interrupted action in the Past. I was watching TV when she called. When the phone rang, she was writing a letter.

While v/s When When you talk about things in the past: -"when" is most often followed by the verb tense Simple Past, -"while" is usually followed by Past Continuous. I was studying when she called. While I was studying, she called

Long Adjectives The rule for the long adjective is to add ‘More’ before the adjective. Megan Fox is more beautiful than Luli. Albert Einstein is more intelligent than you.
