2 The materials used in the Parthenon were pentelic marble, the columns were marble with a with internal iron clamps to hold them in place. Inside the Parthenon had ivory skin. Greek style started around 900B.C. and continued to be used until the 1 century A.D The Greeks used mostly some sort of stone like marble for most of their buildings, because they had a lot of it. The use of columns was also a big part of the geek style. Also there buildings very detractive with sculptures on the walls and other forms of art. When the Parthenon was first built, it was dedicated to Athena who is a god. It is located in Greece on a hill of the Acropolis at Athens. The Parthenon has vertical lines with a smooth texture, and the color is the color of white marble. This style is mostly found in Greece but some of todays building have adopted some of the style and have used it in to their design.

3 The Greek style was built big and strong given they use columns in almost all their work. What is also special is that the buildings are very detailed different types of patterns and around the structure.

4 1.The modern pyramid can be used for many more things. In this case it is a hotel. What makes this possible is that steel, glass, and other materials that we have now have let this structure be created. 2.Our capital is a structure that has a dome. 3.The roads are smoother and more well built that always people to travel faster and smoother farther distances. 4.Greeks like to represent their Gods and in doing so they made their buildings strong with lots of riches to give to their Gods. 5.Building with this style would mean that the structure isn’t going to be small and compact, it will be big and strong.
