FARMERS AND CITY DWELLERS Droughts-a long period of time with little or no rain Domesticate-to train animals or plants for human use Slash-and-burn-farming-a system of farming in which thick forest lands are cut and burned to prepare the soil for planting Surplus-an extra supply
