STARRY NIGHT Vincent Van Gogh painted this painting while he was at an asylum in St Remy in 1889. His painting was done in a way where the movement of the sky is shown through all of the curves he gives to the items in the image.

SUNFLOWERS Painting made to decorate his friends bedroom. Majority of Van Gogh’s sunflowers in vases were made in France during 1888-1889. Vincent Van Gogh paints the plants with colors that match some sunflowers but chooses to make the bottom of the vase the same color as the background.
4
THE MULBERRY TREE Painted after he had a fight with his friend and he cut his ear. He began to have his mental state quickly deteriorate. The movement of the trees leaves are similar to fire as he Vincent Van Gogh has movement in many of his paintings.

REFLECTION The artwork of Vincent Van Gogh is done in a very interesting way as he uses the paint in a way that makes each thing look as if it were in movement. His artwork is well done and he paints pictures of things such as plants and the café. Much of his art might be affected by his deteriorating mind. This affects his personal life greatly but also in a way gives him more time to paint. His time in an asylum was where he painted many of his works. His way of painting is difficult to replicate without using real paint and using it with the canvas and way he did things. http://xvww.vangoghgallery.com
