1) Various groups still clash over the internal boundaries of Israel and which the government controls which portions of land.
Yonatan (the author) would have no trouble locating cities outside of the hotly contested West Bank area, such as Tel Aviv and Ashdod. Within the area, however, which is surrounded by a protective wall, he would have more difficulty interviewing people living in Palestinian controlled cities.
