2. Brazil  This is a full map of brazil and its surrounding countries and its cities.  Brazil is a country in South America.

3. Climate  Mostly tropical. No snow sometimes lots of rain. Very sunny.

4. Location From the United States  Brazil is located south of the United States in South America.  It is located in eastern South America and it borders the Atlantic Ocean.  The countries that border Brazil are: Argentina, Bolivia, Columbia, French Guiana, Peru, Guyana, Paraguay, Suriname, Uruguay, and Venezuela.

5. Languages  Brazil has a language of its own.  The language is called “Portuguese”.

6. Population  The population of brazil is 182,032,604.  Now that is a lot compared to other countries.

7. Flag  Brazil’s flag is green with a yellow diamond in the middle. In the blue globe there are 27 white five pointed stars that represent each state and the Federal District.  The motto of the flag is “Order and Progress”

Government  The last slide shows the 26 states and the Federal District located in the capital Brasilia.  The governments headquarters consist of the legislative, executive, and judicial powers.  Chief of State- President Luiz Inacio  The National Congress consists of the Federal Senate and the Chamber of Deputies.  The court in Brazil consists of the Supreme Federal Tribunal, Higher Tribunal, and the Regional Federal Tribunals.
