2. 2 Safety Rules Act responsibly! Follow oral and written directions. Keep work area clean. Wear safety goggles and protective clothing when using chemicals, heat, or glass.

8. 8 Safety Procedures Wafting—hold the chemical 10-15 cm from the face and wave one hand over the opening of the container forcing air toward the nose. Chemical contact—flush the area with water for at least fifteen minutes.

9. 9 Safety Procedures Disposal of chemicals—handle and dispose of each chemical according to the directions on the chemical’s label. Open flame—make certain a fire blanket and fire extinguisher are present; in case of fire, “stop, drop, and roll”; do not wear nylon fabric; tie back long hair.
