YANAMAYO Key Facts that contributed to the Project 1.Micro and small Real Estate developers participation. 2.Willingness of the Rural Community Authorities to help with a housing solution. 3.Willingness of the Local Government to execute Public Works (Water, Sanitary Sewage, Roads and Electricity). 4.Support of the Housing Ministry.

A NEW LIFE FOR THE COMMUNITY Improvement of living conditions promotes community integration (sanitation, greenhouse, etc.) The only urban area in Ollantaytambo district with WWTP Providing the necessary conditions for habitability Town concentration allows the State attention Recovery of ancient customs (AYNI y MINCA) Recovery of Hope, Pride and Identity

ON-GOING PROCESS Return of some migrants Consolidation and Development of Community Use of money instead of goods exchange. Generation of new income sources: Inca’s Trail support, vivential tourism and home business.
