2. Why he is my hero My Grandpa Thomas Jones is my hero. He is my hero because he used to fight in the Army. He fixed helicopters in Viet Nam when enemy people were shooting at him. He was very brave and did not run away. My Grandma Ruth Jones was very scared when he was over there in Viet Nam. He did not have to go in the Army but he did anyway.

3. His life My Grandpa Thomas Jones was born in Ohio in Cincinnati. He was born in 1946. He lives in Indianapolis now. He has two dogs named Ricky and Lucy. He used to drive a motorcycle but now he doesn’t. He takes care of the garden and drives my Grandma to the library.

He is always nice to other people even if they are not nice to him. He works at the dog pound to help lost dogs and they do not pay him to do it.
