Pam wants to build a fence around her garden. The garden is 20 feet by 10 feet. In order to build the fence does Pam need to measure the perimeter or area? How many feet of fence does Pam need? Pam needs 30 feet of fence the way I found that out is I added 20+10= becouse it’s the perimeter and you add. Then when you do the other sides so you answer is 60. 60

Pam wants to put carpet in her living room. The room is 11 feet by 12 feet. In order to do this does Pam need to measure the perimeter or area? How many square feet of carpeting does Pam need? Well you need to find the area so you multiply 11x12 which =‘s 132 132
