2. What is the Rolex 24 race?  The Rolex 24 Hours race is not about who gets past the finish line first it is about who does more laps in 24 hours.  The track is 3.50 miles.

3. When is it?  It is on the last week of January or the first week of February.

4. History  The race has had several names over the years depending on who sponsored it. Pepsi and SunTrust bank were two sponsors.  The first race was held in 1962. It was a 3 hour race.  In 1966 the race extended to 24 hours.

5. What cars are used? The type of cars that are used are GT (Grand Touring) and Daytona prototype race cars.  Porsche  BMW  Chevrolet  Ford  Audi  Ferrari
