Pakicetus : Land mammal of Asia, dog-like legs, long tail, narrow snout Ambulocetus: Lived in land, went in rivers to find food. Its feed became padded and developed a longer shape body. Rodhocetus: Aquatic lifestyle, went to land only for food and breeding. Swam easier, developed flexibility.

Basilosaurus: Fully aquatic, its back legs have been reduced to vestigial limbs. Aetiocetus: Primitive adaptation, plankton feeding and some baleen next to ordinary teeth. Megaptera novaeangliae: Teeth dissapeared, only baleen. Bigger fins to swim easier.
