Aesthetic Theories Objective: You will learn aesthetic theories in order to discover 3 ways people make art. DRILL: Get your sketchbook and iPad. Aesthetic Theories~ Aesthetics are… Dealing with one’s personal sense of beauty (Like what is beautiful to you… your clothing, the way a decorator sets up a room… is their aesthetic.) A mood is a feeling. Moods can be portrayed through color, type of lines, and choice of images. What is a color that gives a certain mood?

(LITERAL qualities) Formal art is made using mainly art elements and design principles.
