Traditional Weekends In Russia
2
Contents Typical weekends last years. Traditional weekends. Conclusion.
3
Typical weekends last years. When a school-girl I always envied those students who went to school five but not six days a week, as we did. So you may guess, I had the only day off – Sunday.
4
Typical weekends last years. I usually didn't stay indoors, I went to see my friends. We often played volleyball or basket-ball in the yard and in winter if there was much snow out-of-doors we went skating and skiing in the woods.
5
Typical weekends last years. But sometimes the day happened to be rainy and gloomy. I preferred to be in watching TV, listening to music, reading book or just lying on the sofa idling away the time.
6
Traditional weekends. When we have time for leisure, we usually need something that can interest and amuse us.
7
Traditional weekends. People who are fond of music join a musical section. Those who like to dance join a dancing section. People who are interested in sports can join sport sections.
8
Traditional weekends. Some of us love to stay at home spending time on sofa and watching TV.
9
Traditional weekends. In summer spending weekends on the beach is a great rest though many people combine sunbathing with visiting museums and places of interest.
10
Traditional weekends. Besides, people can do different interesting things in winter as well.
11
Conclusion. I think, that ways in which leisure time can be spent are different and interesting! As for me, I prefer “lazy” weekends, when I can spend the whole Sunday without going out.
