2 General informamtion It was a sort of oval stadium It can take more than 50,000 people at a time. It you didn’t mind standing up it could take more than 70,000. It was built in concrete It was built in 70 AD, it was at the time of the emperor Vespasiano

3 General information continues The Coloseum is called the coloseum because there was a colosal statue of the emperor Nero. The ancient Rome were very good constucters. The entry was free! It is the largest Arena of it’s time It is 64 meters high It has 8 entrances It is situated in Rome

4 The purpose of the Colosseum The purpose of the Colosseum, is that it was to see combats between two men or one man and wild animals.
