GEOMETRY CHAPTER 6: QUADRILATERALS By Carl Green -_-

polygons Quadrilaterals Parallelogr ams Trapezoids RectangleRhombus Squares Polygon Hierarchy

Squares Has 4 even sides Two parallel sides Squares, Rectangles, Rhombus, Parallelograms, Trapezoids, Quadrilaterals, and polygons are above squares because they don’t have all equal sides

Rectangles and rhombus Opposite side are congruent All angles are the same Rhombus Consecutive angles, and they are supplementary Parallelogram Two shapes are next in the Hierarchy because they also have to sets of parallel sides

Parallelograms Squares, rectangles, and hombusare all 3 parallelograms because it has two sets of parallel sides, and also the opposite angles are congruent Opposite sides are congruent Quadrilateral

Trapezoids Trapezoids are quadrilaterals that is hit right beside parallelograms Parallel sides are bases Non parallel sides are called bases

Quadrilaterals 4 sided Polygon Angles have the sum of 360 degrees Squares, rectangles, rhombus, and parallelograms are quadrilaterals

Closed figure Formed by segments A polygon can be any shape you can make it can be made out off wock as long as they all connect Polygons
