Claim and Argument are synonyms for THESIS STATEMENT Claims and Arguments must be backed up with evidence that can fall into three categories: LOGIC EMOTIONS ETHICS- A moral sense of right and wrong We will be looking at the claims and arguments that characters make in the speeches we are examining.
