Oral Presentation Instructions 1 – Pick a chapter from the text book (today) ◦We will assign groups based on the chapter you chose 2 – Read the chapter before March 12 th 3 – Discuss the readings with your group in class on March 12 th ◦Presentation dates will be set on March 12 th in class ◦Everyone must attend class on March 12 th unless you have a valid excuse 4 – Chose a topic from the chapter 5 – Prepare a presentation and study notes for the class 6 – Show up for every presentation ◦2 percent will be deducted from your final grade if you miss class without a valid excuse 7 – Present the topic to the class on your scheduled date with your group 8 – Submit your study notes on the day of your presentation – HARD COPY AND ELECTRONIC COPY

Study Notes Must contain: ◦Names of the members of the group ◦Date of the presentation ◦Between 3 – 5 key terms ◦A summary of your topic ◦Small paragraph You are also suggested to submit (optional) ◦Presentation slides – (if any) ◦Audio visual material ◦Other teaching material

Presentation Grade Study notes = 5% ◦Clear and concise ◦Follows the guidelines mentioned on the previous slide Presentation = 5% ◦Clear and concise ◦Stays within designated timeframe ◦Attendance for reading discussion on March 12 th
