15 January 2015 Objective: Identify the sequence of events as well as the use literary terms flashback and flash-forward as they appear in the story “The Leap.” You will then recall your own use of these devices in your own narrative and answer todays prompt in at least 10 ACTIVITIES: Wwords: Inadvertent, Cryptic & Doctrine Collect letters Collect 1984 MWDS Vocabulary: page 35, “The Leap” Read & answer lettered questions according to the homework rubric HW: complete essay/ vocabulary & responses to lettered questions

Take out your narrative, or take a moment to remember it. Think about your own use of flashback and flash forward and answer the following question: when you recall your sequence of events in your own narrative, is it credible– have you used flashbacks or flash forwards? If yes describe briefly; if not, consider doing so and briefly describe how and where it would appear. If you believe your sequence is credible briefly describe it, include use/s of flashback and forward/s. If it is not credible, what could you change to make it so? Describe the improved sequence including flashback /forwards
