What is Antibiotic Resistance? Antibiotic Resistance is a microorganism that is able to withstand the effects of antibiotics. It is known to be a certain type of drug resistance. Antibiotic resistance evolves naturally or natural selection.

What does antibiotic resistance have to do with natural selection? When antibiotics kill the nonresistant bacteria, the resistant bacteria are the selected ones to survive.

What can the U.S. do? The government is funding groups that are trying to fight spread of diseases. The FDA is making food is not infected.

Some Tips Going to the doctor for symptoms that are manageable does not help viruses so do not go to the doctor.
