Differentiation of the Project Letting students have free choice over the tasks they complete allows them to express their talents and interests through their work. Each task checks students’ knowledge and comprehension to varying degrees. You can assign them specific levels of focus while still allowing them to choose their own tasks from those specified levels. For example, you may have a student who is struggling choose their tasks from the lower three levels, while a gifted student may benefit from focusing on the upper levels. The possibilities are endless!
