Preliminary Analyses Effects of Salinity Regime & Shoreline Type Effects of Watershed Landuse & Shoreline Type
5
Results-Salinity Regime & Shoreline Type Significant effect of Shoreline Type on: –Slope, minimum water depth, maximum bed length, SAV frequency, SAV % cover, species richness and diversity Significant interactions between Salinity and Shoreline Type: –Minimum water depth, SAV % cover and species richness
6
B A * * SAV % cover higher @ natural sites
7
B A * Min H 2 O depths shallower @ natural sites
8
SAV beds are more diverse and extended farther from shore @ natural sites

Results: Watershed Land-use Significant effect of Landuse on: –Slope, start of bed, minimum water depth, maximum water depth, maximum bed length, SAV frequency, SAV % cover, species richness and diversity Significant interactions between Landuse and Shoreline Type: –Maximum water depth, SAV % cover and species richness

Summary Salinity Regime and Watershed Landuse are impacting SAV at subestuary scale Shoreline type is also affecting SAV at finer scale: –SAV adjacent to natural shorelines have higher densities, species richness and diversity, and extend farther from shore
