3. LUDMILA LLINA: CASE CONTINUED Paramedics found her sitting on her front steps with her husband’s body not far away Police arrested her and charged her with 2 nd degree murder She has claimed innocence for the last 16 years She was convicted, sent to prison and has exhausted her appeals

LUDMILA LLINA CASE: CONTINUED The Innocence Project, set up at York U.’s Osgoode Hall has agreed to look at her case The Innocence Project, set up by Alan Young is dedicated to exonerating wrongfully convicted people She has no previous criminal history, nor history of violence If they can prove case was flawed, she may get a new trial and evidence used to convict her may now acquit her This is her last appeal
