What advice would you give to Ruby’s parents about young people using mobile phones? You should use the news articles on the next page to give you ideas of some of the main issues but may also investigate your own online. This should include both the positive and negative aspects. Edexcel GCSE ICT © Pearson Education Ltd 2010 Extension Task If you complete the report/letter writing task: –Some people can find some mobile phones difficult to use (eg the elderly), or may require features that many phones do not possess. –You should identify a different group of people which you could design a mobile phone for. –What features should it include? –How would it differ from most mobile phones? –Explain the reasons why you have selected the features chosen for your chosen group of people.
