What is Aurora
3
Types of Aurora colors Aurora also has different colors which, The color of the aurora depends on which atom is caught, and the altitude of the meeting. Green - oxygen, up to 150 miles in altitude Red - oxygen, above 150 miles in altitude Blue - nitrogen, up to 60 miles in altitude Purple/violet - nitrogen, above 60 miles in altitude This is the spectrum of colors emitted by the various atoms in earth’s outer atmosphere.
4
How Aurora happens Auroras are caused by the bombardment(bombed) of solar electrons on oxygen and nitrogen atoms. The electrons directly attracts the oxygen and nitrogen atoms high in the atmosphere to create the beautiful light show we know as an aurora.
5
Causes of Aurora creates a magnetic field around the planet. Aurora borealis are caused when the electric particles called ions/atoms collide with the earth's atmosphere they generate beautiful sparks called aurora borealis in the sky. Aurora also causes the colors which represent themselves in the sky to entertain people.
6
Effects of Aurora Radio communications Aurora disturb the atmosphere and this effect radio waves that are communicating information around the world. Electricity The solar wind adds its own magnetic energy to that of the earth and when they combine they could blow out electric wires and cables. Falling spacecraft The Earth's atmosphere actually expands slightly when, aurora are around. This means that any low flying satellites can hit the upper atmosphere. This can slow them down enough to make them fall back to earth. The northern lights affect the human being, at least indirectly, mental experience. Evidence of this are the numerous legends and beliefs that are alive still today. Some of the effects of these beliefs are very positive. Most people thought watching the aurora light is a sign of happy life and bright future. Even thought the negatives also do exist in the aurora process, believers still do think positive of their beliefs, also the northern lights help women to give birth. Some people believe that The Aurora borealis gives radiation to human, Much of the sun's radiation is deflected(moved) by the earth's magnetic field causing the aurora borealis, more radiation can effect to human is summer season because of the earths tilt, Radiation could cause hard sickness and disease to humans and would be dangerous. Some people also have thoughts that the aurora radiation could harm the earth by negative disasters such as strong tornados in certain places and other natural disaster that could harm places.
